lostprophets and foundprophets

wow.
pre-j sucked. monumentaly. i'm pretty sure we considered leaving.
then some intriguing men with face scarves and hoodies came on setting up apple equipment and such nonsense.
finally! time to begin.
more intrigued than anything we took to the dance floor. moreover, the bass was goooood.
it turned out well. there was a lack of jamie - i dream of seeing that guy dj - but they knew what they were doing. so much so i feel they were a little bit wasted on the people that were there (yeah so what?! i'm a snob.) it was FREE to get in. there was SPACE TO DANCE (large), the drinks were CHEAP (union) and the music was A LOT better than stuff you heard before(pre-j...) they are crowd pleasers, i enjoyed myself.
this climaxed at DIOYY? then we left when we realised their "crowd pleaser" was sex on fire (the pre-j did this, man... it's covered!) but they insisted. so we left. whatever. i enjoyed myself. virtual hugs to the band.

also, some mini prayers were answered when i was handed a flyer for a £5 gig at 13th note. more details to follow, but it sounds sweet... google these guys ( descriptions from the flyer ) :

battle of wolf 359 - frantic, downtuned hardcore for fans of army of flying robots and enter shikari
resurrectionists - members of apoplexy twist orchestra playing chaotic hardcore
black channels - frantic local hardcore
citizens - better than metallica
carson wells - twiddly skreemo from aberdeen. think sinaloa.

i have had a nosy and its definitely worth the fiver.

GLOSSARY
pre-j = dj... before the main dj...
